
Maria Ewa Łunkiewicz-Rogoyska was a painter connected with the avant-garde circles of the interwar and post-war periods. She was born in 1895 in Kudryńce, Podolia, and died in 1967 in Warsaw.

I had the pleasure to participate in a wonderful exhibition called "Mothers of Independence" which had a place at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. It presents 40 women, important Polish artists of various fields from the last century. They are "portrayed" by 40 young female artists on posters.
